  1. So, Sugarman, what are the chances of bringing this film to SA? If so, will we be allowed to sing along in the cinema :-)

  2. I just saw this movie last night in Chicago (Century Landmark Theatre). I almost didn’t make it but, as FATE would have it, I sure did. Walked in seconds before it started.

I did not expect to see one of the BEST documentaries I have EVER seen.
The character connection that I developed left me in tears. At the end, the audience clapped.
Some gave it a standing ovation. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND EVERYBODY SEE THIS MOVIE!

It is a testimonial to humility and how inspiring it can be!

I had NEVER heard of Rodriguez till I was invited to see this movie. I’m 45 years old and was at awe with his lyrics. He reminds me of Ricardo Arjona but in English.

This movie deserves to win an Academy Award for BEST Documentary!!!
